So since I reviewed the first season last week, I decided to do it again for the second season of the show since it just came out and I just got done finishing watching it. I must say this season is much more improved then the first but at times struggles since it follows the same beat as the first season in trying to stop the apocalypse as well as Vanya being the cause of it. Don't get me wrong its still different and a fun road to go on but at times it becomes too predictable and slows down to a halt when it should instead be picking up with the main story instead of getting lost in the side ones as a result. So lets dive in on what I liked most and least about the season.

Let's start with the good things which is the characters. I feel this season the characters really become there own and three dimensional from their side stories and really brought the show to life. Since they get lost in the 60s for one to two years individually, they are then forced to follow different branching paths. Finally when Five shows up to save them from the apocalypse, they are living there own life in very unique ways with each giving a story worth telling to the viewer of how they got there and how much they changed as a person. I loved how rich they made the characters and unique in way that you care for each of there side stories but that also leads to the shows struggle in a way. All the actors do a great job and they all became my favorite towards the end of the season for different reasons.

So now on to what I hated about the season or rather least enjoyed. The story is great, the main one at least, even though it follows the same beat as the first season. However, the main story gets sidetracked a bunch of times as every characters side story needs to be told which ends up leaving the main story being left out most of the season and the side stories too stretched out to fill the gap. I enjoyed all the side stories but felt some didn't have much of a gradual ending but rather was stretched out just to fill out episodes than actually tell a complete story.

Overall, I felt like this season did its job and improved on the first season. It really fleshed out there characters as well as make them unique and relatable due to the stellar story telling at times as well as the acting being top notch from everybody. The story is great but its too stretched out for the content being told and can make the show go very slow at times for all the wrong reasons. The season is great and the show deserves a third season to help explain that great cliffhanger of a ending. Like I said with the first season, I can't wait to watch the third one which, I believe following the track record so far, will be there best season yet. The season was a great rollercoaster with a few bumps here and there but one that should be taken on nonetheless. This has been Revisited, thanks for reading. Ricardo Signing Off
