This week I want to dive into one of my favorite past time experiences, damn that makes me sound old. Music festivals is something you have to experience to get the grand picture of it. In it's simplest form its just a bunch of people on a wide open park watching various concerts happen all at once. Though, it's much more than that or rather the experience of it is. My first one was in NYC at Panorama and my god, did it have a killer lineup to say the least. Acts like Glass Animals, Alt-J, Tame Impala, MGMT, Frank Ocean, Spoon, and Tyler the Creator to just name a few.

What I feel makes festivals so amazing and something someone needs to experience is the mass of people who are all of the same age, mindset, joining together to experience music in its most beautiful form. It like a life changing event in a minor way or almost like your looking at yourself in a mirror everywhere you turn. What I'm trying to say is that it's like a self-discovery trip. Your stuck in the festival from morning to night, meeting people who become friends, listening to tracks you to rocked or cried to in your most important parts of life, and your just taking it all in with people of the same ilk.

I'm sure what im saying and what im trying to describe sounds rather stupid. Though to those who have experienced concerts or festivals may get what im saying at some degree at least. Festivals feels like it's own time capsule of memories where you unearth your past all in one day and you come out a changed person. Also festivals help show me the best pizza place in the world in Joe's Pizza, that pizza is heavenly. This has been the Topic of the Week, thanks for reading. Ricardo signing off.
