What's worse than having to do something? not being able to do that something. You see one thing that this quarantine has taught is, it is that we don't know how much we are going to miss something until we no longer have it. We can't go outside, socialize, or even go to a supermarket and not have anxiety attacks. The world right now is upside down right now and we're not able to do the things we do or watch the things we love watching like sports. So why do I bring up the quarantine, well because it connects perfectly with injuries.
You Injuries suck plain and simple and I'm sure everybody and their mother knows that by now. Let's take a simple knee injury for example. Sounds minor right? Well now because of that knee injury walking feels painful, you can't do sports without aggravating it, and oh yeah you feel like absolute crap because you cant do half of the things you did before, I say this because I had a knee injury and I thought at first it was nothing and then grew to learn that it was the bane of my goddamn existence. Alas, you get my point and understand that injuries suck.
So the reason I wanted to talk about injuries this week is because of quarantine. You see, everybody is in the rush to workout and get fit but their missing out on recovering. We go through the mental and physical grind of normal life and don't even look back to see if our body is keeping up. So instead of going out and doing a hardcore HIIT workout, go meditate and do some stretches and yoga to help the body recover and take a break. Do just jump into the ocean without a life jacket just because people are telling you to. This has been the Topic of the Week, thanks for reading. Ricardo signing off
