Topic of the Week - Music

So for the past couple of posts, I have been talking about nothing but music and this post is no different. I have been diving deep into the music world as of late and couldn't be more happier with the experience. Before, I've been taking music by face value. Almost as if I was glancing over a cover of a book but not reading it or taking it in as you should. Of course, doing that I only got a small percentage of what music is about or the true experience I could have with it. I've always loved music but I never really went deeper than a 6ft pool as I had no time to explore the shallow end of it all till late. Now, diving through the making of certain songs, albums and how bands or artists constructed songs or why they constructed them as well the story they wanted to tell, it made the listening experience of music all the more better and it felt great as if I was putting the final piece to the puzzle. So this week's assignment I guess for you or lesson really, is take the time to appreciate music and dive deeper than just surfacing the face value of it all because music is far more than anyone can let on as the picture goes, with no music there is no life really and that rings ever the more true with each day that passes.
