Topic of the Week - Our Environment

So for this week, I was to discuss something that I probably talked a lot about already but nevertheless I want to center on it again. That of course being our environment and really giving a damn about it. You see we have done a lot of shit in our history. We had the black plague, a couple crusades here and there and oh yeah some world wars to add in there and through all that, were still here. Yet, the earth that lies below our feet, the animals whose shelters were destroying, there dwindling and dying without us even somewhat batting an eye in their direction. Have we been so caught up, so selfish not to recognize what were doing to the world around us is bad?

We pollute the world on a daily basis with plastic water bottles that are filling the ocean more and more each day, destroying ecosystems of wildlife so we could build a hotel in the tropics and throwing our garbage where ever we feel like it. It feels quite sad to look around the world and see such devastation done to the planet that you grow to love and it hurts because your just one person, I'm just one person. We could do so much better as a society and some people are.

Theres people out there who not only choose to help out but make it their life's mission to save the world from the harmful hands from some people that to be frank, don't give two shits what happens in the next 10 years. We as a society as well as the younger generation are inheriting a world from people who mostly mistreated it for their whole lives. It's tragic but true and yet even though some people choose to continue the trend of their elder, there are some who fight for a better future, a brighter tomorrow go be that person no matter how small you think it may be, any effort matters.
