For this week, I want to talk about how we deal with past, present, and to a degree, our future. Awhile back, I heard this quote that goes on to say that we are the sum of our experiences which of course is 100% true. We experience a lot in life and we carry out the lessons we learn to how we go about our future but the thing I want to focus on in particular is how the things of the past come back to the present, where past meets present in a way. I'm talking about this of course because it happened to me recently and of course it has something to do with the love department as most things does when you past comes back in the most surprising of ways. Of course I'm not going to go on full out detail about it but I still want to tell the tale to a certain degree.

I had many love interests in my life as does a lot of people. There were some I liked for only a few seconds and then there were some that left there mark on me which were a few but memorable all the same. There was this one that I took a interest in during high school when I did crew. She was simply great, amazing as all those who leave a mark are but I was shy to say my feelings as I wasn't great with girls and she was an upperclassman. So I did the dumb thing and said nothing and so she began dating one of my friends and that was the end of it, I closed that chapter in my life. Of course, I thought of it every now and than and at times when I saw she was single, I debated on making my move but I ended up never doing it saying to myself that it's too late, to late to do what my heart told me to do.

So fast forward to present day as I'm scrolling through tinder as I received a like and as you can guess who it is from the previous story already for that it was the very same girl that I failed to say my feelings to all those years ago was the one who swiped right on me. Suddenly, my past returned and met up with my present and left me with the same choice that I had all those years ago but clearer. This was fate throwing me a bone, the same bone and it was up to me to go after it and so that is where I'll leave it at as the story is still unfinished at the moment. All in all, the true message of this week that I want to convey is to not get lost in the past however when the past comes back and you regretted the choice you made before, make the right choice this time as fate isn't going to throw you a third bone. This has been the Topic of the Week, thanks for reading. Ricardo Signing Off
