Since this is my first blog post of my website, I would like to say hello and welcome. Thank you for not only checking out my website, but for taking the time to read my blog. Now back to why were both here, me writing it and you reading it, what is this blog going to be? Well let me start from the beginning. When I was young, I hated books almost to the point of despising them which is kind of funny to see now that ninety percent of my room is filled with various books littered all around. I hated books until I discovered heroic stories of greek mythology or stories of dragons or adventure, but none grabbed me more so than Harry Potter. I fully contribute my love for books and writing to my sister and brother, who lent me books from their own collection to read like Harry Potter or helped me read books I disliked for my class so I wouldn't fail tomorrows test. This than led me to the path of creating my own stories, my own universes, and well it led me to where I am now, writing this very blog. I always enjoyed talking to people as well as helping them solve their own dilemmas. So I then decided to why not start a blog to show case my life. Of course, not in a cocky way, but to show the constant struggles as well as achievements a person faces in life. I don't have a perfect life nor do you, the reader, have one. So by writing about myself or topics I enjoy or just something funny I saw in the internet, it may help people to relate and maybe even help them in return. So this is what I want the blog to be, a common ground for me to express my woes and dilemmas as well as my loves, my interests, and my achievements and for you the reader to find comfort to find someone maybe going through the same thing and even help you on your own path through life. Because were all going through the same path, some different than others, but alas all the same. So why not help each other, and as the great Hogwarts headmaster once said, "It's our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." Thanks for reading my first blog post, Ricardo signing off.
